Enrichment Programs
Supporting Students at Burnham & Beyond
The Burnham School PTO is dedicated to enriching the student experience by funding, coordinating, and partnering on a wide range of programs. From after-school clubs and academic support to large-scale community events, our goal is to provide opportunities that help our children learn, grow, and thrive.

After-School Programs & Clubs
After-School Tennis Club
For the 2025-2026 school year, the PTO is partnering with the Bridgewater Recreation Commission to offer an after-school tennis program for students in grades K-5. This program introduces the fundamentals of tennis in a fun and age-appropriate environment, running in 6-week sessions during the fall and spring.
Burnham School Garden Club
The Burnham School Garden has been revitalized, with big thanks to Aventine Gardens! Plans are growing for a student Garden Club. This club meets monthly so sign up and join when you can!

Academic & Curriculum Enrichment
Library & Literacy Programs
A love of reading is fundamental to success. The PTO actively partners with the Burnham Library to fund author visits, support reading challenges, and host after-school programs. In March, we also organize the beloved Scholastic Book Fair—a favorite community event that gets students excited about reading while raising funds to support our school's literacy goals.
STEM & Science Activities
We are excited to bring more hands-on science to Burnham! This fall/early winter, look for the "Science of Suds" interactive workshop coming to the school. More details will be shared soon!
ASAP Arts Programming
In partnership with the Town of Bridgewater, the Burnham PTO works with ASAP to bring a variety of arts-infused programs to Region 12 schools and community spaces. To see the full list of programming opportunities for the 2025-2026 school year and to register, please visit the official ASAP! website.
Teacher & Staff Grants
Our dedicated teachers and staff often have innovative ideas or needs for their classrooms that fall outside the school budget. Through our grant program, the PTO directly funds these requests, providing new technology, specialized learning tools, inclusive classroom materials, and other unique educational resources that immediately benefit our students.

Community & Spirit Events
Building a strong, connected community is at the heart of what we do. For the 2025-2026 school year, the PTO is partnering with our neighbors to:
-
Participate in the annual Bridgewater Country Fair.
-
Decorate a float for the Bridgewater Tractor Parade.
-
Host an Earth Day Celebration with the Bridgewater Land Trust for Burnham students on April 22, 2026.
-
...and much more!

Supporting Future Leaders
Student Scholarships
The PTO is proud to support our students even after they leave our halls. We offer annual scholarships to graduating high school seniors from our community who are alumni of Burnham School, celebrating their achievements and supporting their journey into higher education.
How we make it happen
None of these incredible programs would be possible without you. The support of our Burnham families—through annual donations, fundraiser participation, and volunteering your time—is the engine that powers our mission.

Thank you for your partnership in making Burnham School an exceptional place to learn and grow.
